This exclusive family style dinner seeks to redefine "old world" cuisines in a contemporary style. As we venture into the histories of these dishes, we will also be diving into the importance of food in shaping culture.

Chef Fernanda Reyes of Taco Naco KC A masterful talent with a rich background, Chef Fernanda started her culinary journey in her mother’s family restaurant in Durango, Mexico. With over 15 years of experience, she's garnered world recognition with accolades such as the Bronze Medal at the 2008 IKA Culinary Olympics and a Silver Medal at the Culinary World Cup in 2010. Fernanda has expertly combined European nuances with the vibrant flavors of Mexico, creating the magic that is Taco Naco KC.

Chef Pam Liberda of Waldo Thai - Born in Lampang, Northern Thailand, Chef Pam's culinary foundation was built alongside her mother. Today, she stands tall as the “2021 Chef of the Year” by Feast Magazine and was named The Best Chef in "The Best of Kansas City 2022" by The Pitch KC. Her dedication and passion earned her a nod as a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation Award, Best Chef: Midwest 2023.
